The BOLD Warriors won the 2013 MSHSL Boys’ Baseball Tournament by a score of 3-0 over the Osakis Silverstreaks.  The Warriors blew through the early rounds of the tournament, scoring 25 runs in two games as they rolled through the quarterfinal and semifinal games leading up to the tournament finale on Monday June 17, 2013.

One of the best stories of the entire tournament is BOLD’s pitcher Logan Sandgren’s performance.  Sandgren pitched the quarterfinal and final games of the tournament, completely dominating opponents, allowing only one hit in both shut out games, striking out twelve batters.

As if that were not enough, Sandgren’s first no-hitter in the quarterfinal round of the state tournament was actually is second consecutive no-hitter.  His teammate, Riley Kramer, also threw a no-hitter in the sectional round of the tournament.  To recap, Logan Sandgren has allowed only one hit in his last three starts.

Sundgren is a junior and will look to come back next year and work at the repeat performance.
