The Edina Hornets faced the Andover Huskies in the first round of the 2013 Minnesota State High School League Tournament. The Hornets stung the Huskies hard and often as they swarmed to a final score of 99-61.
The player of the game was Graham Woodward, Edina’s senior guard. Woodward scored 32 points in the first half and sunk 16 of his 24 shots in the game. Edina’s attack was a two person affair with center Reggie Lynch scored 24 points to bring the two player’s game total to 68, more than the Huskies scored in the game.
Edina moves on to face Park Center in the semifinals of the Class AAAA tournament on Thursday.
