It was a chilly rainy day in Minnesota as motocross fans from across the country descended on the small town of Millville, Minnesota for the 31st running of the Red Bull Spring Creek National in Millville, Round 9 – 2013 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship.
Both the 250 and 450 classes had racers returning “home” to Minnesota. For the 250 class race, Jeremy Martin grew up within walking distance of the race track in Millville, Minn. while Ryan Dungey grew up about 100 miles Northwest of Millville. Both riders would have ups and downs throughout the day but both gave the crowd great opportunities to cheer.

For Martin, although he did not pick up a win, he did lead for a time during the race, bringing the great crowd to their feet, if but for a time. Martin finished second in the first race and captured 36 points on the day and currently is ranked eighth in the 2013 Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross 250 MX point standings.
