Minnesota Wild host the Nashville Predators on Hockey Fights Cancer night

The Minnesota Wild shut out the Nashville Predators 2-0 on Tuesday November 22, 2013.  The arena sported purple boards to support Hockey Fights Cancer month.

Minnesota Wild defenseman Ryan Suter skated in his 600th NHL game and is atop the NHL in time on ice in the 2013-2014 season.  Suter played seven years with the Predators from 2005-2012 and signed as a free agent with the Wild during the off-season prior to the 2012-2013 season.

Wild goalie Josh Harding leads the NHL in save percentage (0.953) and goals against average (.96)

Zach Parise picked up two assists on the night feeding Justin Fontaine in the second period and helping on Jason Pominville’s empty net goal at the end of the game.

The Wild will face the Carolina Hurricanes in St. Paul on Thursday and hold a 4-3-3 record with 3-0-2 home record.
