The Minnesota Lynx stalk Atlanta Dream’s hopes for WNBA title

The Minnesota Lynx made quick work of the Atlanta Dream defeating the Dream 84-59 in game one of the 2013 WNBA finals in Minneapolis, Minnesota on October 6, 2013.

The Lynx held Dreams star Angel McCoughtry to 17 points but more importantly McCoughtry shot only 25% from the floor going 6/24 on the night.  Jasmine Thomas also struggled hitting only 3/15 with eight points.

The Lynx had a strong performance by their starters and an outstanding performance off the bench from Monica Wright.  Wright grabbed five rebounds, picked up three steals and scored 20 points in 23 and a half minutes.

Maya Moore played three-quarters of the game and 3/5 from three-point range.  She snagged seven rebounds, two steals and tallied 23 points.   Seimone Augustus picked up 19 points in the win as well.
