450 cc winner Ryan Dungey salutes his home town audience as he wins the main event.

Motorcycle racers from all over the country descended on the Metrodome in Minneapolis, Minnesota to race for the final time in the venue.  The Metrodome is scheduled for demolition later this year as a new stadium is scheduled to be built.

The local, Ryan Dungey, won the main event, the 450 main event.  With the win Dungey moves into second place in the season standings, see below.  The race results and point standings (as of after the races) are below.  When Dungey gained the lead, after a multi-lap fight with Ryan Villopoto, the Metrodome erupted in a din reminiscent of sold out games.
