In absolute dominant fashion, Eli Tomac crushed the competition, winning both 450 races at the 2014 Spring Creek National Motocross and picking up 50 points on the day. Minnesota native, Ryan Dungey placed third and second in the two races, finishing with 42 points on the day.
Placing third at Spring Creek, Ken Roczen, who failed to make the podium for the first time this year. When asked about it, Roczen smiled, and said “I’m gonna lead with a smile on my face” reminding everyone that he was still in first place.
Dungey was asked about coming “home” and said that he enjoys the Spring Creek track but has not ridden the track much in recent years. He was pleased with his performance on the day as he gained two points on his teammate Ken Roczen and now trails Roczen 367 to 343 with four race days left this season. On his performance this weekend, Dungey said “Last week we tied in points, this week I gained in points so we are moving in the right direction.”
