Sundays at Canterbury Park are devoted to families.  The horse racing track is transformed into a mini carnival atmosphere with face

painting, pony rides, a petting zoo and, of course, horses – lots of them.

Races start at 12:45 with approximately four hours of racing, afterwhich comes the kids race where the track is groomed and the kids in the crowd get to race to the finish line – like their favorite horses.

The jungle gym (a multilevel, multi-activitied colossus) keeps the attention of young and old between races and food breaks.

Sundays through mid-September are family days at Canterbury Park.
