Lynx advance to fifth consecutive Western Conference Finals to face Mercury

The Maya Moore, Lindsay Whalen, Seimone Augustus and the Lynx will be entering their fifth consecutive Conference Finals series and have won the WNBA Title in two of the last four years. The team has their worst regular season record since 2011 at 22-12. They defeated the Los Angeles Sparks in three games.

Maya Moore, the 2014 league MVP, is having a great year. In the playoff series against the Sparks she was the top scorer in all three games. In the regular season she was second in the league in points per game with 20.6 points per game.

As the Lynx prepare to take on the Phoenix Mercury they will need to dig deep to score on the league’s fourth best defense. In their favor, the Lynx are one of the few teams who have allowed fewer points this year. It will be a great series between these two teams with lots of history and bad blood.
