Minnesota Swarm struggle to stay afloat in playoff race

The Minnesota Swarm falls to the Calgary Roughnecks 10-6 on April 18, 2015 at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minnesota.

The Swarm was outscored 4-0 in the second quarter, the difference in the game, and are still in the playoff contention, sitting tied with the New England Black Wolves for the final spot in the playoffs.

Minnesota missed the veteran leadership of Callum Crawford, Jordan MacIntosh and Kiel Matisz, who were all out with injury for the game.

The Swarm will take on the Edmonton Rush on Saturday, April 25, their second-last game of the regular season. Stay tuned to The Minnesota Sports Report for news and photos from the game.
