Minnetonka scored twice in the second quarter to come within seven, 24-17, going into halftime, but the Eden Prairie offensive juggernaut rushing attach parted the line and navigated the Skipper defense, amassing 347 yards of offense. The Eagles scored 14 second half points to and their defense held the Skippers scoreless.
The final score, 38-17 was the result of suffocating defense and persistent, bruising running on offense. The Eagles defeat their Lake Conference rivals and add to their impressive legacy under Coach Grant.’
